Project description:
This campsite in the Drenther province of the Netherlands has tried its best to use solar energy. However, because the Dutch electricity grid here is so unstable, a significant amount of equipment for the owner, Henk, and his wife has been blown up.
Our partner SmartVolt brings new solar solutions to customers, they have built a shipping container with lots of Victron equipment and BASENGREEN batteries and has stopped any grid issues. They also uses Node-RED to use the extra solar power to heat water for the site campers.
